BioShock: .25 Cents Per Hour

Oh BioShock… it’s one of the greats, and now it’s cheap too! BioShock stands out with it’s head held high. Taking a seemingly classic environment and putting it’s own dark and eerie twist on it. BioShock is a first-person shooter, but it feels like more than just a shooter because of the other elements sprinkled in. Your character gains various new abilities that you will learn to use for more than just combat. The AI is smart, sneaky, and freaky… so you won’t feel bad taking them out via shooting a lightning bolt into the pool of water at their ankles.

The unique story and RPG elements make the game seem to move much faster than the 20 hours it takes to complete. It is well worth the price, and the graphics don’t feel overly dated for being 7 years old. It can also be found in other bundles such as the BioShock Collection that contains BioShock, BioShock 2, and BioShock Infinite, all of which are worth a play and each seem to get increasingly better as the series progresses. The collection is going to run you about $30.00 – $40.00 bucks though. It is rated M, so this one isn’t for younger audiences.
